// ABOUT STUDIO SECHEL
Jordan Richard Knobler (he/him, USA b. 1995) is a multidisciplinary artist working primarily in sculpture and photography. The practice reflects an ongoing meditation on the non-linear nature of personal and creative growth, an acceptance of life’s circuitous journey and the wisdom that arises from embracing its inherent uncertainty.
Knobler holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Sculpture and Photography from Florida State University’s College of Fine Art and a Master of Business Administration from the Crummer Graduate School of Business at Rollins College. The artist has lived and worked across the American Mountain West, participating in select art events before returning to Florida, where curiosity led into the field of commercial real estate development.
Within this unexpected medium of real estate, he sustained a parallel creative practice by weaving artistic programs throughout his developments—curating interior installations, exterior sculptures, and site-wide interventions that transformed commercial spaces into cultural landscapes.
After several years away from studio practice, Knobler’s return to the fine arts was both an act of renewal and reconciliation, an acknowledgment that every detour had been essential preparation. A breadth of experience across commercial and creative production informs a practice grounded in reflection, craftsmanship, and a growing awareness of the delicate balance between intention and surrender.
Knobler continues to create work that embodies this ethos, treating art not as a destination but as an ongoing passage through which meaning, resilience, and serenity are continually rediscovered.
